Our good friend Lori Martin signed up to be a bone marrow donor in March.  She told us yesterday that BeTheMatch contacted her as a potential donor match for a 55 year old man.  From her swap test she was a  6 out of 10 match. They have asked her to go in to complete the testing process.  It makes me so happy to hear so many of our friends are taking our cause to heart. Then to find out one of them may already be a potential match for someone else.  

Speaking of donor matches.  I called Erin Curtis at PCH today to see if  there was any updates on marrow or chord blood matches for Noah.  She informed me she has not done a search in a while so she would run one today and get back to us.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed they will come up with some news prospects.

Our new friend Maddie (20 months) her parents went to Seattle to meet with their transplant team.  They were told there was 838 potential matches for Maddie. The doctors are confident that they will find her 10 out of 10 perfect match sooner than later.  I'm so happy for that family!
